ETS6 - The Perfect Tool for Programming KNX Home Automation

ETS6

This is undoubtedly one of the programming tools where I spend the most time. Besides being easy to program KNX in ETS6, this tool allows the integration of devices from any manufacturer that develops using the KNX protocol. In fact, there are already more than 500 manufacturers and over 8,000 existing products. The most interesting aspect is that the product libraries can be downloaded directly within ETS6, eliminating the need to visit the manufacturer's website to find them.

With ETS6, we can create a simple home automation project for a residence or a larger and more complex project for a hotel. At the moment, I have programmed more hotels than residences.

Whether it's a simple residence, a hotel, or any other building, the programming logic is always the same. The difference lies in the number of devices in the project and consequently the number of group addresses needed to control the inputs and outputs of the devices.
