Installing and Testing the Multifunction Safety Remote Control for Autonomous Emergency Lighting Units - Legrand 003900
Today, I will show you the installation and testing of a non-polarized multifunction safety remote control for autonomous emergency lighting units (emergency lighting) from the brand Legrand, Ref. 0 039 00. It is very easy to install and does not require complex parameterization, allowing integration into the SADI (Automatic Fire Detection System), and controlling in case of a fire alarm.
Principle of Operation
This remote control allows:
- Controlling from a single point the switching of all autonomous emergency lighting units to rest or active mode after turning off the normal lighting; Remotely switching off normal lighting and setting the units to rest mode with a single action (using a Mosaic key switch, Ref. 0 766 30);
- Automatically setting the units to rest mode in case of a power cut by the clock or automation;
- Setting the units to rest mode by zone in an installation that has multiple zones of operation;
- Performing a continuity test of the remote control line without turning on the units;
- Verifying the units activation without cutting the normal lighting;
- Remotely controlling installations with more than 300 units by adding a second identical remote control in cascade;
